David Hargitt
David Hargitt is the Data Manager for the Complex Emergency Database. He is in charge of data collection for CE-DAT, NGO and intergovernmental contacts, and also coordinates workshops and conferences. He did his Bachelor's degree in Biology at Hartwick College, New York, a Master's in Human Ecology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), and a Master's in Cartography and Remote Sensing at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
Florian Vogt
Florian Vogt is research fellow at CRED working on epidemiological patterns of health consequences in civil conflict. He holds a medical degree (MD) from Hamburg University, Faculty of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Relations from Dresden University, School of International Studies.
Chiara Altare
Chiara Altare is a reasearch fellow at CRED working on the human impact of conflict on health, with special focus on malnutrition in complex emergencies. She has a degree in Development Economics from the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, The Netherlands. Since 2007, she has been working in academic and consultancy organisations focusing on humanitarian assistance.
